In de tent der samenkomst, van buiten den voorhang, die voor de getuigenis is, zal ze Aäron en zijn zonen toerichten, van den avond tot den morgen, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN; dit zal een eeuwige inzetting zijn voor hun geslachten, vanwege de kinderen Israëls.

In de tent van ontmoeting, aan de buitenkant van het voorhangsel dat tegenover de getuigenis is, moeten Aäron en zijn zonen die verzorgen, van de avond tot de ochtend, voor het aangezicht van de HEERE. Dit is voor de Israëlieten een eeuwige verordening, al hun generaties door.
