Het geschiedde nu, als hij in het huis van Nisroch, zijn god, zich nederboog, dat Adramélech en Sarézer, zijn zonen, hem met het zwaard versloegen; doch zij ontkwamen in het land van Ararat; en Esar-Haddon, zijn zoon, werd koning in zijn plaats.
